The Acquisition of Ritter Imaging

EDLEN Corporation completed its acquisition of Ritter Imaging LLC on May 1, 2010.

The Ritter company dates back to 1887 when German born founder, Frank Ritter, opened his first factory in Rochester, New York. The history of the Ritter Dental Manufacturing Company spans one hundred and twenty two (122) years.

To prevent market confusion and possible cross branding, we have elected to trade as Edlen Imaging LLC globally. Under our new name we plan to continue to drive innovation and continue our dedication to our customers, and global distribution partners.

Products and service innovation is our mantra, this is demonstrated with the scheduled release of our all NEW high definition Gemini Sensors in June 2010. The all-new Gemini sensors are high definition with resolution rated at, 26.32 lp/mm. Connectivity to your PC/laptop is DIRECT to the USB port. No more, clutter and fragile, clunky boxes to move from patient to patient and from room to room.

Edlen Imaging provides high definition digital x-ray sensors, wall mounted, portable X-ray units, high definition intra oral video cameras, DICOM enabled and PACS ready dental imaging software, dental PACS solutions for hospital, dental universities and multi location dental offices.
