High Definition Pan/Ceph Dental X-ray

Edlen Imaging’s all new TAURUS dental Panoramic and Cephalometric X-ray units employ the all-new state of the art CdTe (Cadmium Telluride) sensor technology, producing images at higher resolution than other technologies, used in medical and dental applications today.

CdTe sensors convert X-ray energy to electronic signals, without the need of a scintillator to convert x-ray energy to light.  The new CdTe sensor technology is further enhanced with Edlen Imaging’s superior medical grade, LynxVision imaging software, by compiling the sensor’s digital data to produce visible X-ray images.

This streamlined process ensures the repeatable production of crisp, clear Panoramic and Cephalometric images every time.  Additionally, this unique process may also eliminate the need for spine compensation and refocusing software.

Most importantly exposure to harmful X-ray radiation is significantly reduced making the TAURUS’s technology safer for the patient and the environment.
